- Mathematics & Mathematics Education: Searching for a Common Ground – for over 100 years there have been battles about math teaching, and often pure mathematicians and math education specialists are at odds with one another. Here’s a review of the book.
- The BetterExplained site has some of the most intuitive explanations of math concepts, and there is an ebook available.
- A Mind For Numbers: How to Excel at Math and Science (Even If You Flunked Algebra) – by Barbara Oakley, see her MOOC on Learning How to Learn
