Programming: Why Not?

Alfred Thompson, the K-12 Computer Science Academic Relations Manager for Microsoft and a former K-12 computer science teacher, posted
a link and comments about an editorial entitled Programming: Why Not? by Mark Guzdial, a professor at Georgia Tech [my alma mater]. In it Mark shares people’s tales of how much they dislike or fear programming. Students dislike it so much, they will drop required courses in order to avoid it. I added my own comment to Alfred’s blog post, and see also this related previous story: Why Johnny Can’t Code.
