Here are some recent books and reports I’ve run across, as well as some articles I and others have written that you may find useful.
We created a knowledgebase of over 50 articles related to college teaching here, on topics such as active learning, lecture, classroom response systems, and the like.
And here are some recent books and articles and reports you may find interesting, mostly related to STEM education or higher education in general. Most of these I’ve posted on twitter (@edtechdev) before and/or Google+.

- The Cost of College Attrition at Four-Year Colleges & Universities (pdf) – how much money is your college losing every year due to student dropouts? This report calculates it for every school in the country. You can also find the cost of first year attrition on collegemeasures.org. As an example, at my small (5000 student) university, we lose ~$24 million a year, ~$12 million of which is from freshmen leaving.
